I want a boat. Until I get one Ill just keep taking pictures of boats.
Water looks more green today and beach looks more lively
Walking to the end of the pier

Best brunch ever with these girls. We ate at Salt at the Marina Del Rey hotel and had the view of the boats
Heewon came to LA! And we went straight to the beach 😀
Selfies all day with this babe
Laying back down to worship the sun. Trying out this new bikini bottom. My first textured bikini… very different…
in pure bliss… so happy to be outside with heewon.

I went running one early morning after I dropped off my roommates at the airport. Early morning jogs are the best but I was bummed at the thought of both of them being gone for over a week. They asked me to care for their plants while they’re away. I hope their plants flourish right when they get home.
This morning gloom is super annoying. what the fuck.
Taking pictures while running.

My parents came into town this weekend. We took a stop at Venice beach.
The view from the pier
Sea creatures of the ocean. Get up up up.
On the beach I’m facing the ocean. Its cool to see in the ocean they face the waves too.
Catching the next one.
I am in love with the ocean.
Beach views from the pier
Walking into the clouds.
We spotted this bird and stared at it for like 10 minutes.

Every morning there’s been overcast in the sunny state of California. I do not like it.
7 AM cloudy beach.
Lonely watch towers for miles.
I’m not a fan of the foggy sky but it made the mountains in the back look misty.
Bike route into the clouds.
I bought a wetsuit online but it doesnt arrive until next week. I found this surfboard rental shop but I had no idea it was a mobile store. We drove around looking for each other but found each other in an empty parking lot.
Staggered boards on top and on the inside. This orange van reminded me of the NBL player Daniel Norris and how hes living out of his van that looks just like this.
My first time on an 8 footer. I think the 9 foot board makes a huge difference. I’m debating on getting one since my stay here is so short and because I drive a sedan with no rooftop support… I don’t know how I would transport a 9 foot board to the beach.
For now, I’ll rent until I find a way.
Taking a break after drinking a gallon of ocean water.
Approaching the water felt intimidating and freeing at the same time. I struggled sooooo badly in the beginning, but I got better the more I pushed forward. It’s been over a year since I last stood on a board and I always forget how strong and powerful water is until it pushes against you.
I let go of the board and let it pass in front of me only to let the current pick it up and knock me in my mouth, and again on my forehead. Stupid mistakes that could have been avoided. Today I was only able to get up a handful of times, but once I was up it felt amazing to move forward with the current.
I feel like that goes with other departments in life sometimes. How hard it is to keep trying harder to push against the current or go against what people believe or expect of you. How easy it is to move in the direction of everyone else and to believe that you’re on top when you feel support.

Watch tower + sky
It was crazy busy this day. People in the center were dancing on rollerblades… very talented… I have trouble dancing on my own two feet.
Street views away from the chaos
Tall trees dancing
This t-shirt I want. Its only like $200 +… I put it back after i stared at it for 5 minutes.
Mirror mirror on the wall…
